Healthy Dieting & Eating Part 2

Part two will discuss prescription weight loss drugs. We are finding a lot of people are looking to take the easy road to being healthy by taking pills, and doing nothing more. This is a terrible method that all should avoid.

Eating less and moving more is the most sensible method and a recipe for success. But there are times when people will go to extreme methods like prescription drugs for dieting, and fad or crash diets that are not safe in most cases. This is not a cure to get healthy and to get your weight down, nor to maintain your weight at a healthy level.

If you made a decision to use prescription diet pill methods, don’t take anything until your see your doctor. If there is anything in your medical history that says ‘don’t take”, listen to the medical professional and do not take the pills. Your health is precious, treat it as such. When discussing taking prescription weight loss drugs, ask your doctor to tell you about the most popular and safest choices on the market. Here’s a list of the most popular weight loss drugs being prescribed by doctors:
  • Belviq
  • Contrave
  • Saxenda
  • Phentermine
  • Qsymia
Before taking any prescription weight loss drug, do your homework and consult your physician. Just because it works for others does not mean it will work for you.

In general, healthy eating and exercise is the overall best way to go, plus the bible lays out the perfect diet, which we will discuss in part three of this series.
